Dalam bidang pendidikan, Energy Equity telah melakukan program-program CSR untuk membantu peningkatan pengetahuan dan wawasan masyarakat sekitar.

Tertinggalnya prestasi bidang pendidikan di kecamatan Gilireng beberapa tahun silam, menjadi persoalan yang mendapat perhatian serius dari Energy Equity dan UPT Dinas Pendidikan, tahun 2001 prestasi pendidikan kecamatan Gilireng hanya mampu menduduki posisi terakhir dari 14 Kecamatan di kabupaten Wajo.

Bantuan beasiswa mulai disalurkan sejak tahun 2003 hingga saat ini telah berhasil meningkatkan antusias para siswa untuk bersaing, bahkan para orang tua siswa juga berlomba-lomba memotivasi anaknya untuk mendapatkan prestasi.

Atas kerjasama Energy Equity dengan UPT Dinas Pendidikan setempat, sejak dua tahun terakhir Kecamatan Gilireng menjadi tahun emas pendidikan di daerah yang dikenal Bumi Cakkuridi ini. Beberapa prestasi berhasil diraih oleh sejumlah sekolah di daerah penghasil gas ini, baik prestasi tingkat Kabupaten, hingga tingkat provinsi.
