Kearifan Lokal pengetahuan praktis. Pengetahuan praktis yang diperoleh masyarakat Kasepuhan Ciptagelar diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat dalam meningkatkan produksi panen. Kegiatan penyuluhan pertanian yang diikuti tidak semata-semata ditolak oleh masyarakat Kasepuhan Ciptagelar, namun akan diterima dengan ketentuan-ketentuan yang ada. Kegiatan penyuluhan dan transfer ilmu dari luar juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas produk kerajinan tangan dari masyarakat Kasepuhan Ciptagelar. Pengetahuan praktis lainnya didapat melalui leluhur yang diajarkan secara turun temurun. Ada beberapa pengetahuan praktis yang dimiliki masyarakat Kasepuhan Ciptagelar sebagai berikut: (a) pengobatan yang dilakukan oleh warga itu sendiri dimana alat dan bahan obat-obatan langsung diambil dari alam; (b) sunatan baik untuk anak laki-laki dan perempuan dilakukan oleh orang yang sudah ditentukan dan keahlian dalam khitanan tersebut akan diwariskan secara turun temurun; dan (c) lumbung-lumbung padi yang dimiliku oleh setiap warga Kasepuhan Ciptagelar sebagai tempat penyimpanan cadangan padi sehingga krisis pangan dari luar tidak akan mempengaruhi keadaan masyarakat Kasepuhan Ciptagelar.
