Visi merupakan sebuah daya ataupun kekuatan untuk melakukan suatu perubahan yang mendorong terjadinya proses suatu kreatifitas dari orang-orang yang ada dalam organisasi tersebut. Terdapat dua aspek mengenai visi, yakni visionary role dan implementation role. Artinya pemimpin tidak hanya mampu membangun atau menciptakan visi bagi sebuah organisasi, namun juga mempunyai kemampuan untuk menerapkan visi tersebut kedalam suatu rangkaian yang diperlukan guna mencapai visi tersebut.

Contohnya adalah sebuah farm yang memiliki visi “Menjadi Farm yang Terdepan di Bandung untuk Menghasilkan Produk Daging Berkualitas Tahun 2015”. Untuk mewujudkan visi tersebut, manajer farm beserta karyawan mulai menyusun dan membuat serangkaian kegiatan manajemen pemeliharaan terpadu meliputi desinfeksi kandang dan penggunaan peralatan secara konsisten, pemberian ransum yang berkualitas, dan pelaksanaan program kesehatan tepat waktu

Untuk menghasilkan produk ternak (seperti daging yang berkualitas), memerlukan program pemeliharaan yang baik dan terkontrol. 1. Measurable

Hal ini digunakan agar setiap anggota organisasi dapat mengukur apakah tindakan yang dilakukan mendukung visi organisasi atau tidak. Visi yang terukur akan menjadi panduan dan pedoman bagi setiap insan dalam organisasi.

2. Inspiratif

Pemimpin mampu membuat setiap anggota terinspirasi dalam setiap tindakan yang dilakukannya. Visi tanpa makna yang jelas tentang apa yang akan dicapai hanya akan menjadi sebuah wacana yang tidak akan mampu menggerakkan orang.

3. Harus jelas

Sebuah visi haruslah memiliki tujuan dan masa depan yang jelas pada organisasinya. Sebuah visi juga tidak boleh Abstrak, sehingga mudah dimengerti oleh setiap anggota organisasinya.

Untuk membuat suatu Visi yang jelas bagi seorang Pemimpin, tentu pemimpin dituntut untuk berpikir Kreatif, Inovatif, dan Sistematis.
