This study aims to determine the quality of the comic biology as a media independent study high school students / MA classes XI on the material human nervous system according to a reviewer I, reviewer II and student responses.
This study is a Research and Development (R & D) using a model 4-D, namely: define , design, develop, and disseminate. Data obtained from the questionnaire instrument Review Results of Phase I by three lecturers matter experts, and one media expert lecturers; Review phase II by 3 high school biology teacher N 2 Semarang and 2 high school biology teacher N 1 Semarang; for further responses given by respondents 6 N 2 Semarang high school students and 6 students MA N 1 Semarang grade XI. object of research is biological comics, and the variable quality of the comic aspects of biological research.
The results showed that the comic biological material of human nervous system from the aspects of feasibility content / material, aspects of language, presentation feasibility aspects, and aspects kegrafisan based on the assessment by media experts have met the criteria very good, and based on expert assessment of materials, teacher and student perceptions have met both criteria. In general, students commented that the comic biology prepared to help and facilitate students in learning material elusive nervous system, in accordance contents learning in school, drawing and color is good to be a means to eliminate saturation.
