Student Problem in mathematics education: Komunikasi efektif sebagai upaya mengatasi permasalahan siswa dalam pembelajaran Matematika.

Abstract
Proses belajar mengajar hanya dapat berlangsung dengan adanya komukasi yang baik antar guru dan siswa. Tak dapat dipungkiri bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa menghadapi kendala-kendala dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi. Peran guru selaku pengajar (komunikator) tentunya menjadi poin penting dalam memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan interaksi 2 arah sehingga adanya umpan balik antara guru dan siswa. Komunikasi yang effective menunjukkan adanya interaksi positif antara guru dengan siswa sehingga dapat menjadi solusi guna membantu siswa menemukan solusi dari permasalahannya.

A. Introduction
Student problem
Majid (2014) guru sudah sepatutnya memahami segenap aspek pribadi peserta didik seperti 1) kecerdasana dan bakat khusus; 2) prestasi sejak permulaan sekolah; 3) perkembangan jasmani dan kesehatan; 4) kecendrungan emosi dan karakternya; 5) sikap dan minat belajar; 6) cita-cita; 7) kebiasaan belajar dan bekerja; 8) hobi dan penggunaan waktu senggang; 9) hubungan social di sekolah dan di rumah; 10) latar belakang keluarga; 11) lingkungan tempat tinggal; serta 12) sifat-sifat khusus dan kesulitan belajar anak didik. Tidak hanya itu, guru juga melakukan evaluasi setiap saat untuk melihat perkembangan dan kondisi peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran, termasuk jika siswa menghadapi kesulitan dalam proses belajar mengajar tersebut.
Sugiyono (2013) mengungkapkan bahwa masalah dapat diartikan sebagai penyimpangan antara yang seharusnya dengan apa yang benar-benar terjadi, antara teori dengan praktek, antara aturan dan pelaksanaan, antara rencana dan pelaksanaan. Kesuliatan belajar merupakan hambatan bagi upaya peserta didik dalam mencapai tujuan belajar. Oleh karena itu, tingkat kesulitan belajar harus disusun sedemikian rupa sehingga dapat mendorong peserta didik untuk mengatasi kesuliatn belajar dengan tepat.
Learning process
Menurut majid (2014) dalam bukunya, Pembelajaran adalah serangkaian peristiwa (events) yng memengaruhi pembelajaran sehingga proses belajar dapat berlangsung dengan mudah. Pada sisi yang sama, Interaksi edukatif adalah interaksi yang dilakukan secara sadar dan mempunyai tujuan untuk mendidik dalam rangka mengantar peserta didik kearah kedewasaannya. Proses edikatif memiliki ciri sebagai berikut: 1) Ada tujuan yang ingin dicapai; 2) Ada pesan yang akan ditransfer; 3) Ada pelajar; 4) Ada guru; 5) Ada metode; 6) Ada situasi; 7) Ada penilaian.
Dalam pembelajaran terjadi proses komunikasi untuk menyampaikan pesan dari pendidik kepada peserta didik dengan tujuan agar pesan dapat diterima dengan baik dan berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman serta perubahan tingkah laku. Dengan demikian keberhasilan proses pembelajaran sangat tergantung pada efektifitas proses pembelajaran yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran tersebut.
Communication
Mmenurut Stephen covey dalam majid (2014) komunikasi merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan kita. Unsur yang paling penting dalam komunikasi bukan sekadar pada apa yang kita tuliskan atau katakan, tetapi pada karakter kita, dan bagaimana kita menyampikan pesan kepada pemerima pesan. Pada dasarnya komunikasi merupakan suatu proses penyampaian informasi. Pentingnya komunikasi dalam pembelajaran diharapkan mampu mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi siswa pada pembelajaran matematika.

B. Student Problem in mathematical learning
Majid (2014) guru harus berusaha membuat peserta didik aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk menumbuhkan keaktifan siswa, harus dimunculkan rangsangan-rangsangan yang dapat berupa Tanya jawab, praktik dan latihan, drill, membuat ringkasan, kritik dan komentar, serta pemberian proyek (tugas). Dalam proses pembelajaran, sebagaimana yang terjadi pada komunikasi, adanya feedback merupakan hal penting. Umpan balik yang tepat dari guru dapat menjadi pemicu semangat bagi siswa, penguatan terhadap jawaban benar, meluruskan jawaban yang keliru, memberi komentar terhadap pekerjaaan siswa, dan dapat pula memberi umpan balik yang menyeluruh terhadap reformansi siswa.
Terciptanya hubungan antara guru dan siswa secara lebih akrab dan menguntungkan terutama dalam situasi akademik, maka guru dan siswa harus mempunyai sikap, yaitu: saling mengenal, bersikap terbuka, saling percaya dan menghargai, serta guru berkesungguhan hati mau membimbing siswa. Adanya penyimpangan pada hal tersebut dapat menjadi masalah dalam proses pembelajaran nantinya.
C. Communication effective
Komunikasi dikatakan efektif apabila terdapat aliran informasi dua arah antara komunikator dan komunikan, dan informasi tersebut sama-sama direspon sesuai dengan harapan kedua pelaku komunikasi tersebut. Setidaknya terdapat 5 aspek yang perlu di pahami dalam membangun komunikasi yang efektif yaitu kejelasan, ketepatan, konteks, alur dan budaya.
Salah satu pola pengajaran terstruktur efisien dan efektif, maka perlu dilakukan hal yang tidak lain memberikan bantuan dan pertolongan kepada siswa yang masih mengalami kesulitan pada saat-saat yang tepat, yaitu sesudah penyelenggaraan testing formatif, dan dengan cara yang efektif untuk siswa yang bersangkutan. Pada prosedur belajar tuntas, guru sepatutnya mengambil langkah-langkah seperti siswa yang belum mencapai tingkat penguasaan yang dituntut, perlu diberikan pertolongan khusus, misalnya bantuan dari teman yang bertindak sebagai tutor, mendapat pengajaran dalam kelompok kecil, disuruh mempelajari buku pelajaran yang lai, mengambil unit pelajaran lain yang telah diprogramkan dan sebagainya. Bentuk pertolongan atau bantuan khusus yang diberikan dapat bermacam-macam, yang penting sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa yang masih mengalami kesulitan.

D. Closing Remark
Komunikasi sebagai suatu proses penyampaian informasi mengakibatkan adanya interaksi positif antara guru dengan siswa (interaksi dua arah) sehingga dapat mengatasi adanya kesenjangan antara harapan dan realita yang akan terjadi, dan menjadi solusi guna membantu menemukan solusi dari permasalahan peserta didik .
