Metode yang digunakan untuk menyusun desain pembelajaran berpendekatan saintifik pada materi kinematika adalah Dick & Carey. Kelayakan produk diketahui dari hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh dosen dan guru. Aspek yang divalidasi antara lain (1) kebenaran konsep, (2) kesesuaian indikator pada skenario dengan karakteristik pembelajaran IPA di SMP, (3) kesesuaian skenario pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik, (4) kejelasan informasi pada bahan ajar, (5) keefektifan kalimat dan kelengkapan komponen pada bahan ajar, (6) ketercapaian pengukuran indikator, dan (7) kelengkapan komponen instrumen penilaian. Bentuk lembar validasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis skala Guttman yang terdiri dari 2 jawaban yakni “sesuai” dan “tidak sesuai” dan juga komentar dan saran dari validator. Jenis data yang diperoleh adalah data kualitatif yang berupa komentar dan saran yang ditulis oleh responden di dalam kolom.

The feasibility of the product are known from the results of the validation carried out by professors and teachers. Aspects that are validated, among others, (1) the concept of truth, (2) suitability of indicators on the scenario with the characteristics of learning and SCIENCE in junior high school, (3) suitability of learning scenarios with scientific approach, (4) the clarity of the information in the materials, (5) the effectiveness of the sentence and the completeness of the component in the materials, (6) ketercapaian measurement indicators, and (7) the completeness of the components of the assessment instrument. Form validation sheets used in this research is a type of scale Guttman consisting of 2 answers i.e. "match" and "not appropriate" and also the comments and suggestions of the validator. The type of data that is retrieved is the qualitative data in the form of comments and suggestions written by respondents in the column.

Forms validation sheets used in this research is the kind of Guttman scale consisting of two answers to the "appropriate" and "inappropriate" and also comments and suggestions from the validator. The type of data is qualitative data obtained in the form of written comments and suggestions made by the respondents in the column.
