KPU LEBAK DATANGI TETUA BADUY BAHAS TPS
Lebak, Jia Xiang - Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Lebak mendatangi tetua masyarakat adat Baduy untuk membahas usulan pencoblosan di tempat pemungutan suara yang dipusatkan di dua titik pada pemilihan legislatif, pada 9 April 2014.

"Kami berharap tetua masyarakat Baduy mau menerima seperti semula pencoblosan di 15 Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS) untuk meningkatkan partisipasi hak pilih pada Pemilu Legislatif itu," kata Ketua KPU Kabupaten Ahmad Saparudin di Rangkasbitung, Banten, Selasa (18/2).

Ia mengatakan, pihaknya sangat keberatan usulan masyarakat Baduy dengan mencoblos di dua titik yakni TPS Kadu Ketug dan Cicakal Girang. Mereka melakukan pencoblosan di dua titik karena berdasarkan keputusan lembaga adat setempat. Masyarakat Baduy hingga kini sangat patuh dan taat terhadap lembaga adat mereka.

"Kami minta tetua adat tetap pencoblosan pemilih legislatif bisa dilakukan di 15 lokasi TPS," katanya sebagaimana dikutip Antara.

Menurut dia, jumlah TPS pemilu legislatif di permukiman Baduy sebanyak 15 TPS dengan jumlah daftar pemilih tetap (DPT) 7.296 jiwa.

Namun, mereka tetua adat Baduy ingin digabungkan pencoblosan pemilih di dua titik dengan alasan adat itu.

"Mudah-mudahan dalam pembahasan usulan itu, mereka warga Baduy bisa berubah kembali untuk melakukan pencoblosan di 15 TPS," katanya.

Tetua Adat Baduy yang juga Kepala Desa Kanekes, Kecamatan Leuwidamar, Kabupaten Lebak, Djaro Daenah mengatakan pengusulan pencoblosan pemilihan suara di dua titik tersebut karena berdasarkan keputusan lembaga adat.

Mereka para tetua adat yang mengusulkan pencoblosan di dua titik itu antara lain jaro tangtu yakni Jaro Alim dari Tangtu Cikeusik, Jaro Damin Cikertawana, dan Jaro Sami dari Tangtu Cibeo.

Selain itu juga jaro tujuh, yaitu Saidi Putra (Tanggungan Jaro 12), Ijom (Jaro Warega), Ayah Arji (Cipatik), Sarmadi (Cihandam), Ikah (Carungeun), dan Samin (Singalayang).

"Kami harus melaksanakan perintah adat pada Pemilu 9 April 2014 di dua titik itu," katanya.[W5]
