ST.NURAISYAH JASMIN, pengalaman masuk Universitas Muslim Indonesia.
Universitas Muslim Indonesia berdiri sejak tahun 1954 atas prakarsa para Ulama, Pemerintah dan Cendikiawan muslim di Sulawesi Selatan. Visi pendirian UMI adalah melahirkan sarjana yang berilmu amaliah, beramal ilmiah dan berakhlaqul karimah. Universitas Muslim Indonesia Makassar adalah perguruan tinggi pertama dan hingga saat ini, menjadi satu satunya perguruan tinggi di Kawasan Timur Indonesia yang membuka dan miliki Fakultas Teknologi Industri. FTI-UMI berdiri sejak 16 Juni 1987, berawal dari gagasan Prof. Dr. Ir. Ing. BJ. Habibie.
Sekarang saya kuliah di Univesitas Muslim Indonesia, Gedung Fakultas Teknologi Industri jurusan Teknik Pertambangan. Dalam mata kuliah saya mempelajari yang berkaitan dengan mencari, dan mengelola bahan galian. Kita kuliah bukan hanya untuk megejar nilai ataupun bersaing dengan teman-teman seperjuangan. Tetapi kita kuliah juga untuk menambah wawasan kita, bagaimana kita dapat memandang kehidupan kedepannya seperti apa.
Tujuan saya di sini, semasa sya kuliah saya dapat mengetahui lebih banyak lagi tentang ilmu pertambangan. Dalam jurusan teknik pertambangan 2016 berjumlah 207 mahasiswa/mahasiswi yang terbagi dalam 6 kelas. Nah di dalam kelas saya terdapat 35 orang dimana 7 orang perempuan dan laki-laki berjumlah 23 orang.

Indonesia's Muslim University founded in 1954 on the initiative of the scholars, Government and muslim Scholars in South Sulawesi. Now I study in Muslim Indonesia Univesitas, Faculty of industrial technology Department of mining engineering. In the course of my study related to searching for and manage minerals. We are not just for College megejar of value or compete with friends arms. But we also to add to our insight, how we can look at what kind of future life. My goal here during my college days I can find out more about the science of mining. In the Department of mining engineering 2016 totaled 207 students/student who is divided into 6 classes. Well in my class there are 35 people where the 7 women and men amounted to 23 people.Key words: mining, lectures, experience.
