Sehingga untuk mengetahui batas kekuatan strukturnya maka perlu dilakukan analisis dengan melakukan pemodelan, menemukan letak tegangan krisis maksimuk dan menghitung nilai margin of safety. Pemodelan dan analisis yang dilakukan pada struktur housing outboard ground spoiler actuator dengan menggunakan software CATIA V5R20. Metode analisis yang dilakukan adalah metode analisis static dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas generative structural analysis pada softwere CATIA V5R20. Pembebanan pada penelitian ini yaitu gaya lift dan drag pada 3 model housing outboard ground spoiler actuator yang berbeda berdasarkan jenis koneksi dalam software CATIA V5R20 yaitu fastened connection, rigid connection dan pressure fitting connection.
