Sedangkan Wiyata mempunyai arti tempat dimana seseorang mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan, norma dan etika. ADIWIYATA artinya tempat yang besar, agung, baik dan indah yang dimana tempat itu digunakan oleh seseorang untuk mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan, norma, dan etika.

Cara Menerapkan
Konsep 5 R sendiri berasal dari 5 kata dalam bahasa Inggris yaitu Reduce (Mengurangi), Reuse (Menggunakan kembali), Recycle (Mendaur Ulang), Replace (Menggunakan kembali) dan Replant (Menanam Kembali).
Berikut ini dijelaskan tentang konsep 5 R:
1. Recycle
Recycle atau mendaul ulang adalah kegiatan mengolah kembali atau mendaur ulang. Pada perinsipnya, kegitan ini memanfaatkan barang bekas dengan cara mengolah materinya untuk dapat digunakan lebih lanjut. Contohnya adalah memanfaatkan dan mengolah sampah organik untuk dijadikan pupuk kompos.
