While the 6-owned Japan is 4 patents concerning the manufacture of tempeh; 1 patent regarding antioxidants; and 1 patent concerning cosmetic use isolated soybean material. Another patent to Japan, called Tempeh, Nishi findings and Inoue (Riken Vitamin Co., Ltd.) was granted on 10 July 1986. Tempe is made from soy milk mixed waste soy flour, wheat flour, rice flour, corn flour, dextrin, Na-caseinate and egg white.
