Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tipe kepemimpinan Kepala Badan Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Kampar dan bagaiman pengaruh tipe kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Badan Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Kampar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah sebanyak 34 orang. Dan jumlah sampel ditentukan dengan metode sensus yang menjadikan seluruh populasi sebagai sampel. Jadi, jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 34 orang. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan maka diketahui bahwa tipe kepemimpinan secara empiris berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Badan Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Kampar.

This research aims to find out how the type of leadership the Environmental Agency Chief Kampar and how the influence of the type of leadership against the performance of employees in the Agency Environment Kampar.
