Kabar ini mula-mula berembus dari akun Facebook Yessi Caroline, ibu ASP. Sejak tanggal 5 Oktober 2015, Yessi kerap membagikan status seputar kasus ini. Sampai hari ini (21/10/2015), Yessi masih membagikan curahan hatinya seputar kasus ini.

Status-statusnya banyak mendapat perhatian. Menuai ratusan tanda suka (baca:simpatik), hingga disebar oleh para pengguna Facebook.

Salah satu statusnya dibuat laiknya surat terbuka, yang ditujukan kepada Presiden Joko Widodo.
