Keputusan pemerintah menaikkan bea

Keputusan pemerintah menaikkan bea masuk (BM) atau impor duty lewat Peraturan Menteri Keuangan (PMK) No 132 Tahun 2015 tentang Penetapan Sistem Klasifikasi Barang dan Pembebanan tarif Bea Masuk Atas Barang Impor cukup mengejutkan. Terutama bagi agen tunggal pemegang merek yang masih mengandalkan pasokan impor utuh completely built up (CBU) dari luar Indonesia.

Pada regulasi baru itu diputuskan kalau BM impor mobil CBU dinaikkan menjadi 50 persen dari sebelumnya cuma 40 persen.

"Bea masuk menjadi 50 persen hanya untuk mobil CBU impor dan arahnya untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah produksi dalam negeri. Agar lebih menarik untuk memproduksi di Indonesia dari pada sekedar impor," ucap Saleh Husin, Menteri Perindustrian kepada KompasOtomotif, Jumat (24/7/2015) petang.
