Lingkungan tempat tinggal saya di Jakarta memiliki perbedaan dengan lingkungan tempat tinggal di Depok. Ketika di Depok saya tinggal di perumahan atau komplek. Nama perumahannya adalah Perumahan Bukit Novo. Lingkungan di rumah orang tua saya sangat nyaman dan tenang, tidak bising kendaraan yang lalu lalang. Tetapi disana sulit untuk membeli kebutuhan sehari hari yang mendadak habis. Jika ingin belanja kebutuhan yang habis, harus ditempuh menggunakan kendaraan. Berbeda tinggal di Jakarta. Disana tempat saya tinggal sekarang, tepat di pinggir jalan. Disana sangat bising karena pengendara baik motor dan mobil yang lalu lalang. Tetapi banyak sekali toko-toko yang berjualan dan ditempuh dengan berjalan kaki, seperti Hoka-Hoka Bento, Alfamart, Bakmi Bangka, sampai toko-toko kecil, seperti menjual baju, meetball, snack, nasi goreng, dan masih banyak lagi.
