ABSTRAK
POPI FAJARWATI, Pengalaman Masu k Umi (Universitas Muslim Indonesia) dibimbing oleh Ir. Ansariah Harfan,ST.,MT,.IPM.
Universitas Muslim Indonesia berdiri sejak tahun 1945 atas prakarsa para ulama, pemerintah dan para cendekiawan muslim di Sulawesi Selatan. Visi pendirian UMI adalah melahirkan sarjana yang berilmu amaliah, beramal ilmiah dan berakhlaqul karimah. Universitas Muslim Indonesia Makassar adalah perguruan tinggi pertama dan hingga saat ini, menjadi satu-satunya perguruan tinggi dikawasan Timur Indonesia yang membuka dan memilki Fakultas Teknologi Industri. FTI-UMI berdiri sejak 16 juni 1987, berawal dari gagasan Prof. Dr.Ir.Ing.Bj.Habibie.
Saya sekarang duduk dibangku kuliah dengan jurusan Teknik Pertambangan(bukan tambang liar), nah yang menjadi renungan dijurusan saya ini yaitu, mempelajari mata kuliah yang berkaitan dengan pertambangan (mencari, mengolah bahan galian (alam) dengan semestinya) itupun dengan cara yang benar dan sesuai dengan hukum yang ada. Tapi sekali lagi saya tekankan disini, bahwa kuliah bukan hanya untuk mencari kerja saja, tetapi ada hal yang bisa kita ambil dari sudut pandang yang berbeda-beda. Apa sih yang bisa saya ambil dari kuliah yang belajarnya ilmu pertambangan, iya ini awalnya menjadi pertanyaan saya.
Jadi jawabannya adalah dari belajar ilmu pertambangan kita bisa mengambil nilai lebih ditekankan pada cara mengeksplorasi dan mengeksploitasi bahan tambang. Iya, tidak hanya belajar saja tetapi juga membuka pola pikir untuk berfikir yang lebih terbuka dan modern. Beberapa orang yang saya temui sangat berbeda pola pikir, cara bersosialisasi orang kuliah dengan yang tidak. Namun tidak semua berbeda tapi orang yang kuliah ada paling sedikit nilai plusnya. Di teknik pertambangan 2016 berjumlah 207 orang, tetapi didala kelas saya terdiri dari 35 orang dimana perempuan berjumlah 7 orng saja dan lelaki berjumlah 23 orang. Sekarang perkuliahan sudah berjalan selama 4 minggu, dan sudah mendapatkan beberapa materi yang berharga dan juga telah aktif mengikuti parktikum fisika dan kimia dasar serta beberapa tugas yang telah diselesaikan.

What the heck can I get from the learning Sciences College of mining, Yes this was originally my question. So the answer is from the studied mining we can take more emphasized on how to explore and exploit mining materials. Yes, not only learning but also open mindset to think that a more open and modern. Some people I met a very different mindset, how to socialize with people who cannot lecture. But not all different but people who lecture there is at least the value of plusnya. In mining engineering 2016 amounted to 207 people, but didala my class consisted of 35 men where women amounted to 7 men and men amounted to 23 people. Lecture now been running for 4 weeks, and already getting some valuable material and also has been actively following the parktikum basic physics and chemistry as well as some of the tasks that have been completed.

So the answer is to learn the science of mining we can take a value more emphasis on how to explore and exploit mineral deposits. Yes, not only to learn but also open the mindset to think more open and modern. Some people I encountered a very different mindset, how to socialize with people who do not lecture. But not everyone is different but the people who went there at least a plus.
