Jumlah kumulatif infeksi HIV yang dilaporkan sampai dengan Desember 2014 oleh Kementerian Kesehatan RI adalah sebanyak 160.790 orang dan kasus Aids sebanyak 65.790 orang . Kami menyadari bahwa permasalahan HIV di Indonesia adalah masalah kesehatan, namun masih menjadi jalan yang panjang untuk menurunkan stigma diskriminasi kepada Odha dan keluarganya. Dibutuhkan kerjasama yang lebih baik dari berbagai pihak dalam menciptakan upaya perbaikan, baik pada aspek layanan kesehatan dan aspek biopsikososial pada Odha (Orang dengan HIV) dan orang yang terdampak langsung atau keluarganya.
