Pulau kecil yang berada di pantai Desa Sumber Agung Kecamatan Pesanggaran Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Pengunjung mengagumi pulau merah karena memiliki pegunungan di tengah pantai.
Pulau merah memiliki air yang jernih dan pasir putih sepanjang 3 km. Sangat cantik. Di sebelah timur terdapat barisan gunung. Banyak pohon kelapa dan pisang yang membuat pulau tampak sejuk. Di bagian selatan pulau, pengunjung bisa menikmati matahari tenggelam di sore hari. Ombak besar di pantai ini disukai para penggemar olahraga selancar. Di waktu tertentu banyak wisatawan berselancar. Ketika air laut surut, para pengunjung dapat berjalan kaki untuk menikmati gunung kecil di tengah pantai yang warna tanahnya merah. Karena itu pantai ini dinamakan pulau merah. Ada juga yang mengatakan disebut pulau merah karena tepian bebatuan pantainya berwarna seperti tanah merah. Ketika masuk ke dalam air pantai, pengunjung harus hati-hati karena disini terdapat bulu babi. Untuk pengunjung yang ingin membeli oleh-oleh, disini menyediakan berbagai oleh-oleh seperti baju, gantungan kunci, hiasan dari kerang. Harganya tidak terlalu mahal. Seperti gantungan kunci yang saya beli, harganya hanya 5000 rupiah. Atau ingin kuliner, disini tersedia warung ikan bakar. Baunya sangat harum.
