JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor
1. Job purpose:
To support and assist the Restaurant Manager at Burleigh
Court. Helping to Ensure both areas are professionally managed / organized and
a high degree of customer care, quality, cost control and revenue maximization
is Achieved.
2. Duties and responsibilities:
a. To assist in the management of the restaurant at Burleigh court, deputising
in the absence of the respective heads of departments.
B. Within all areas:
o Ensure total guest satisfaction is Achieved
o Ensure the systems in place to maintain the required high standards of
professionalism, cleanliness and service delivery are Followed at all
times
o Ensure all company procedures relevant to Reviews These areas are adhered to
at all times .
o Ensure any guest Immediately issues are addressed and resolved in a
manner the which exceeds the customer's expectation
c. Sales Marketing:
o Assist in the promotion / creation of in-house sales initiatives ensuring
operations Contribute proactively to the overall sales function
d. Quality
o Ensure all service and hospitality quality standards are adhered to on
all occasions by yourself and the teams that you supervise. E. HR and Training: Ensure all new team members are inducted, mentored and trained thoroughly alongside the Restaurant Manager and Deputy Restaurant and Bar Manager. F. Communication o Ensure excellent communication exists within the restaurant. O Attend all management meetings and training sessions as required. G. Finance o adhere to the financial systems in place for purchasing, revenue capture, payroll and food / liquor control. 3. Other Related Activities and Functions a. To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested and that are commensurate with the nature and level of the post. 4. Organisational Responsibility Reports to the Restaurant Manager Supports and assists the Restaurant Manager and the Deputy Restaurant and Bar Manager in their roles
