Menurut Abdul, Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) harus segera menuntaskan Rancangan Undang Undang Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban tersebut karena telah mendapat persetujuan Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono melalui penandatanganan surat persetujuan presiden atas Rancangan Undang Undang Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban pada 12 Februari 2014 lalu.
