KISAH NYATA YANG HARUS KAMU KETAHUI

Aku mendapatkan cerita ini dari sebuah situs lelucon dan ketika membacanya au berfikir cerita ini seharusnya dibaca oleh semua orang, jadi aku menulis ulang dalam bahasa Indonesia, beruhubunga sebenarnya tidak ahli dalam menulis atau menerjemahkan jadi saya buat alakadanya dan berharap kalian bias memahami isi cerita ini.
Ceritanya begini…..

Di sebuah tepat di dunia ini hidup seekor kucing jelek. Semua orang dikomplek tua di sudut kota tahu siapa “si jelek” itu. Jelek adalah seekor kucing jantan. Jelek hanya memiliki tiga hal untuk melanjutkan hidupnya: berjuang, makan sampah dan cinta.
Kau tahu bagaimana kedaaan si jelek? Dia hanya memiliki satu mata, dimana mata yang lainnya hanyalah sebuah lubang menganga. Dia juga kehilangan telinga pada sisi yang sama, kaki kirinya terlihat seperti pernah mengalami luka parah dan telah sembuh pada sudut yang tidak alami, sehingga membuatnya terlihat seakan-akan selalu hendak berbelok (pincang).

Ekornya telah lama hilang dan hanya menyisakan potongan terkecil. Si jelek adalah kucing berbulu dengan garis abu-abu gelap, kecuali luka yang menutupi kepala leher, dan bahkan bahunya dengan tebal, serta koreng yang menguning. Setiap kali seseorang melihat si jelek hanya aka nada satu reaksi yang sama dari mereka. “Kucing itu sangat jelek!”

Semua anak-anak diperingatkan untuk tidak menyentuhnya, orang dewasa melempar batu ke arahnya, menyiramnya ketika ia mencoba dating ke rumah-rumah mereka, atau membanting pintu ketika ia tidak beranjak pergi. Jelek selalu memiliki reaksi yang sama. Jika anda menyiram air padanya, ia akan berdiri disana, basah kuyup sampai anda menyerah dan berhenti. Jika anda melemparkan sesuatu padanya, ia akan meringkukkan tubuh di sekitar kaki seakan memohon ampunan.

Setiap kali dia melihat anak-anak dia akan berlari mengeong dengan tergila-gila dan menyundulkan kepalanya ke tangan mereka, mengemis akan cinta mereka. Jika seseorang mengangkatnya ia akan segera mulai mengisap di baju anda, anting-anting, atau apa pun yang bisa ia temukan.

Suatu hari jelek berusaha membagi kasih sayangnya dengan anak anjing tetangga. Tapi naas anjing-anjing ini tidak merespon baik, dan jelek dianiaya dengan sangat parah. Dari apartemen saya bisa mendengar jeritannya, dan saya mencoba bergegas membantunya. Saya pun berusaha berlari kea rah di mana ia terbaring, tampak jelas kehidupan si jelek yang menyedihkan akan berakhir.

Jelek tergeletak di genangan air, kaki belakang dan punggung bawah memutar keluar dari bentuk seharusnya, tetes air mata mengalir di bulunya. Saat saya mengangkatnya dan berusaha untuk membawanya pulang, saya bisa mendengarnya mendesah dan terengah-engah, dan bisa merasakan dia tengah berjuang. “Saya pasti telah menyakitinya dengan sangat,” piker saya. Lalu saya merasakan tarikkan yang saya kenal, sensasi hisapan di telinga saya.

Jelek, merasa kesakitan yang teramat sangat, menderita dan sekarat namun ia berusaha mengisap telingaku. Saya menariknya lebih dekat, dan ia menabrak telapak tangan saya dengan kepalanya, lalu ia berbalik dan memandang dengan satu mata emasnya ke arah saya, dan saya bisa mendengar suara dengkurannya dengan jelas. Bahkan dalam rasa sakit terbesar, si kucing jelek dengan bekas luka itu berjuang untuk meminta sedikit saja kasih sayang, sedikit saja! Mungkin hanya sedetik belas kasihan dari makhluk hidup.

Pada saat itu saya piker si jelek adalah makhluk yang paling indah yang pernah ku lihat. Tak pernah sekali pun dia mencoba untuk mengigit atau mencakar saya, atau bahkan mencoba melarikan diri dari saya, atau meronta-ronta dengan cara apapun. Jelek hanya menatapku dan benar-benar percaya saya dapat menghilangkan rasa sakitnya.

Jelek meninggal dalam pelukanku sebelum sampai di rumah, tapi saya duduk dan menggendongnya untuk waktu yang lama setelah itu, berpikir tentang bagaimana satu bekas luka, sedikit cacat bisa mengubah pendapat saya tentang apa arti dari kemurnian semangat, untuk mencintai dengan penuh dan bersungguh-sungguh.

Jelek mengajarkan saya banyak hal, tentang memberi dan tentang kasih saying. Dan itu lebih berarti dari pada ajaran seribu buku, kuliaj atau talk show special di TV, dan untuk itu saya akan selalu bersyukur. Jelek telah terluka di luar, tapi saya terluka di dalam, dan sudah waktunya saya untuk maju dan belajar untuk mencintai bersungguh-sungguh dan mendalam.

Sudah waktunya untuk memberi kepada semua orang yang saya saying. Banyak orang ingin menjadi kaya, lebih sukses, disukai, indah, cantik, tampan, tapi bagi saya, saya akan selalu berusaha menjadi seperti si Jelek.

Many people want to be richer, more successful, like, beautiful, pretty, handsome, but for me, I will always strive to be like the Ugly.
