Pandawa merupakan titisan para Dewa yang turun ke bumi dan memiliki sifat yang berbeda-beda. Bima atau Werkudara memiliki watak kesatria, gemar menolong, jujur, berbakti kepada orang tua dan gurunya, setia, memberantas angkara murka dan adil. Karakter-karakter pewayangan dapat juga di implementasikan ke dalam dunia pendidikan, 18 karakter yang terdapat di dunia pendidikan salah satunya merupakan sifat atau karakter yang di miliki Bima/werkudara yaitu sifat jujur, adil, cinta damai, suka menolong, membela kebenaran, membela yang lemah, dan tanggung jawab. Pendidikan karakter bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu penyelenggaraan dan hasil pendidikan di sekolah yang mengarah pada pencapaian pembentukan karakter dan ahlak mulia peserta didik secara utuh. Pembelajaran sejarah bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan apresiasi dan penghargaan peserta didik terhadap peninggalan sejarah sebagai bukti peradaban bangsa Indonesia di masa lampau serta menumbuhkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap diri sendiri, masyarakat, dan proses terbentuknya bangsa Indonesia melalui sejarah yang panjang dan masih berproses hingga masa kini dan masa yang akan datang.
