Gunung Jaya adalah salah satu bukit di deretan bukit jajar yang membentang dari Palimanan sampai Rajagaluh dan berputar ke Kramat. Gunung Jaya salah satu bukit yang dikeramatkan karena menyimpan berbagai kisah dan sejarah tentang perjuangan para waliallah menyebarkan agama islam yang mendapat tantangan dari Keadipatian Rajagaluh.

Tercatat beberapa tokoh besar yang terkait dengan Situs Gunung Jaya, diantaranya Sunan Bonang yang makomnya berada dikaki gunung Jaya sebelah barat. Tokoh lainnya adalah Syeh Hasan Besari dan Syeh Madkur yang makomnya berada tak jauh dari puncak Gunung Jaya. Selain itu da juga tokoh lainnya Mbah Buyut Raksawana dan Mbah Buyut Sepuh Secabadra yang makomnya sebelah timur gunung Jaya.

Keunikan dari Gunung Jaya adalah di puncaknya terdapat sumur kejayaan. Keadaanya mang selalu kering tak berair, karena itu ika ada yang mendapat atau menemukan sumur itu dalam keadaan berair adalah pertanda besar cita-citanya akan tercapai. Wallahualam...

Selain Sumur Kejayaan ada tempat unik lainya di sisi timur Gunung Jaya yaitu Batu Lawang. Batu Lawang adalah susunan bebatuan yang membentuk pormasi sangat unik seolah diukir sedemikian rupa. Batu Lawang adalh bukti kebesaran Tuhan menciptakan alam.
