Highlight the main differences between the two main United Kingdom Language sociolinguistic context as a second language (ESL) and United Kingdom language as a foreign language (EFL), Hall and Walsh (2002) stated that the classroom second language includes "the context in which the language is learned in the classroom is also the language of society" and "the context of learning a foreign language are those who are exposed to and the opportunity to interact with the target language is restricted for the most part to the language" (class terms. 186.) in other words, the main difference between the two in this context is access learners should be the language being studied: within the context of ESL, students have access to the language not only in the outer class, but more often from native speakers (NSs) in various situations; whereas in the context of EFL, their access to the langauge outside the classroom is very limited, even though they may have access keinternet and United Kingdom TV program.
