The population in the study of JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL students are all over the country 5 years VII-class lesson Semarang 2014/2015. Research on sampling was conducted using the techniques of cluster random sampling with selected class VII E control as a class that is named with the scientific approach to learning, class VIII F as a class experiment 1 were given the learning model CPS assisted edmodo realistic berpendekatan, and Class VII G as a class experiment 2 given realistic models of learning berpendekatan CPS. For qualitative data, the selection of the subject based on purposive sampling technique. Certain considerations does is choose two subjects in the upper class, the middle class on the subject two and two lower class on the subject. A group of top students who have the highest value, the middle is a group of students who have a value of medium and lower groups is students who have the lowest value. Free variables in this study are learning using a realistic model of the CPS assisted berpendekatan edmodo, learning to use the model of PBL learning in realistic and dberpendekatan with scientific approach, while the bound variable is the ability of mathematical literacy of students and kerakter.The data in these studies obtained using methods of documentation, tests, observation, question form, and interviews. Observation methods used to find out the quality of learning and character of independent students use a model of realistic approach with the CPS assisted edmodo and using the CPS models with realistic approach. The test is used to obtain the value data of mathematical literacy abilities of students to become research samples. This test consists of 1 content, namely Uncertainty and Data comprising 10 grains of matter that contains mathematical literacy indicators. Before this math literacy ability tests given to students, test tested in advance to know the validity, reliability, power of distinction, and the difficulty of the problem. The method now used to know the ability of mathematical literacy students using model assisted Edmodo realistic berpendekatan CPS and CPS models which use realistic berpendekatan. The interview method used to find out the character independently on student learning and ability after following literacy mathematics students.The data collected was then analysed to test the hypothesis.
