Ayah saya adalah seorang yang tidak menetap pekerjaannya seperti kebanyakan orang. Ayah saya pernah menjadi konsultan di bank, marketing perumahan atau bekerja di bidang properti. Tapi sekarang Ayah saya bekerja sebagai ketua harian di PERCASI (Persatuan Catur Seluruh Indonesia) Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Namun disisi lain, dia juga bekerja sebagai wasit dalam kejuaraan catur. Sekarang pun dia sedang disibukkan menjadi panitia dalam ajang bergengsi tingkat nasional yang sekarang sedang ramai di masyarakat, yakni dalam kegiatan Pekan Olahraga Nasional 2016 (PON 2016). Rencananya kalau sudah selesai tugasnya menjadi panitia PON, dia mau menggeluti lagi dunia properti.
Pekerjaan bapa saya di PERCASI KBB adalah mengurus atlit-atlit catur yang ada di Kabupaten Bandung Barat, baik atlit yunior maupun senior. Namun palatihan lebih di fokuskan kepada yang yunior. Dia juga yang selalu mendampingi atlit-atlitnya ketika ada kejuaraan. Dia juga yang berperan penting terhadap kemajuan atlit-atlitnya. Selain itu dia juga merencanakan program kerja PERCASI KBB baik jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang, merencanakan membuat sekolah catur KBB, dan lain-lain.
