Namun sebelum melakukan analisis konflik terlebih dahulu penulis mengukur kinerja simpang dengan menggunakan metode yang ada dalam Panduan Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) yang diterbitakn oleh Dirjen Bina Marga tahun 2014.
Setelah dilakukan analisis, dapat diketahui bahwa pengaturan konflik dan penerapan belok kiri langsung dapat memicu adanya konflik lalu lintas yang dapat membahayakan pengguna jalan. maka dari itu diharapkan penulis dapat menganalisis dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk dapat mengurangi konflik pada simpang empat Jetis Kota Salatiga dan meningkatkan keselamatan pada lokasi studi.
