Distrik Misool Barat merupakan salah satu Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Daerah di Raja Ampat, di dalam pengelolaan sumber daya lautnya berbasiskan pada masyarakat dengan adanya Sasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pola pengelolaan sumber daya berbasis masyarakat pada kawasan konservasi perairan daerah Distrik Misool Barat. Dilihat dari faktor eksternal dan internal yang memengaruhi pengelolaan sumber daya, serta unsur-unsur pengelolaan sumber daya berbasis masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif, data yang digunakan berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Keberlanjutan dari pengelolaan sumber daya menggunakan analisis multi-dimensional scaling (MDS). Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kebijakan Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Daerah tidak terlepas dari Sasi, serta masyarakat memiliki peran penting dalam pengelolaan sumber daya laut yang dibantu oleh tokoh agama, ketua adat, tokoh masyarakat, dan LSM TNC. Hasil dari segi tingkat keberlanjutan sumber daya laut yang ada disana, termasuk kategori “Good”.
