politeknik negeri batam adalah salah satu perguruan tinggi negeri pertama di batam. politeknik berdiri di sebidang tanah yang luasnya sekitar 12,5 hektar dengan empat gedung yang besar. empat gedung tersebut terdiri dari gedung utama dan dua gedung apartemen dosen disamping kanan gedung utama serta tower A disamping kiri gedung utama. gedung tersebut memiliki warna dinding yang bermacam - macam. gedung utama dan dua gedung apartemen dosen berdinding coklat dengan atap merah serta tower A dikelilingi dinding kaca yang berwarna biru. gedung utama berjumlah 8 lantai dengan dua lantai yang memanjang ke samping kanan dan samping kiri gedung utama
