Sinopsis:
Film ini berawal dengan menjelang kepindahan Baron dari Jakarta. Cerita berlanjut ketika Baron telah pindah di Balikpapan (saat in plot film anak mulai terasa). Saat pertama kali masuk sekolah, Baron telah bertemu Rusdi dan melihatnya dengan sinis dari awal sehingga kentara sekali bila Baron ada hubungannya dengan Rusdi. Hal ini membuat kelanjutan cerita dapat ditebak. Baron sebagai murid pindahan terlihat tidak mau membuka diri dengan sekitar dan mendapat ledekan dari teman sekelasnya.
Kepindahan Baron bertepatan dengan kontigen penggalang SDnya yang akan mengikuti perkemahan di saat liburan sekolah. Karena Rusdi, Baron harus mengikuti perkemahan pramuka bersama dengan anggota lainnya meskipun Baron memiliki tujuan terselubung untuk mengikuti pameran mobil RC. Di perkemahan, mereka bertemu dengan Sindai yang bergabung dengan mereka saat mencari markas bintang.
Di tengah perjalanan, terjadi perbedaan pendapat yang menyebabkan dua kubu yakni Baron, Aldi, Sindai yang ingin kembali ke balikpapan dan tidak menyelesaikan kemah dan Rusdi serta Anton yang tetap optimis akan melanjutkan kemah. Akhirnya mereka menuju ke jalannya sendiri.
Namun naas, Rusdi dan Anton tertangkap oleh penculik. Sedang Baron akhirnya memutuskan untuk kembali melanjutkan kemah, Aldi dan Baron pun mengikutinya. Klimaks terjadi saat Baron, Aldi dan Sindai berusaha menyelamatkan Rusdi dan Anton.
Akhirnya mereka menyebut diri mereka ‘5 Elang’.
Kelebihan:
Pelajaran moral saat Baron berbaik hati menolong anak lain dengan mengambilkan balon yang tersangkut di antena di atas atap rumah yang bahkan sampai merelakan salah satu perangkat mobil Rcnya.
Mengajarkan budaya Go Green saat peran Rusdi mengatakan, “maaf, kertasnya kecil. Penghematan buat pohon”
Cerita film ini singkat, tidak bertele-tele sehingga mudah dicerna oleh anak. Karena film ini memang didedikasikan untuk keluarga.
Akting pemain yang bagus dan tampak natural
Dibintangi oleh CJR yang punya banyak fans, tentu saja akan memicu popularitas dari film ini.
Kekurangan:
Terlihat banyak siswa yang tidak menggunakan dasi sedang peran Rusdi menggunakan dasi. Karena film ini dinikmati semua kalangan, para pelajar yang melihat film ini dapat menncontoh untuk tidak mengenakan dasi. Apalagi, saat peran Aldi bertanya kepada Rusdi tentang keikutsertaan SD Matahari dalam perkemahan (menit 11 detik 42), dasi Aldi terlihat tergantung di kantung dadanya. Hal ini tentu kurang sopan. Hal kurang sopan terjadi lagi di menit 13 detik 25 saat Rusdi memperkenalkan Anton ke kakak pembina, terlihat Anton sedang mengunyah di hadapan kakak pengguna, sambil berdiri pula.
Saat peran Rusdi dan Baron sedang berjalan berdua, terlihat ketidak stabilan kamera yang menyebabkan kurang berkesinambungannya antara gerakan menit 14,36 dan 14,37 yang memiliki latar pintu. Ketidak stabilan kamera juga sering ditemui di sepanjang film.
Saat scene lomba tarik tambang, sebagian besar anak pramuka telah melepas tas namun sebagian lagi belum. Hal ini membuat kesan sebagaian yang belum melepaskan tas baru datang. Apalagi di tengah lomba terlihat anak-anak prmuka dan kakak`sedang berlali untuk melihat lomba dan saat lomba selesai mereka bubar tanpa komando. Hal ini tentu bukan pramuka yang sebenarnya melainkan mungkin sang penulis masih terngiang oleh sifat sebagaian rakyat Indonesia yang seperti itu.
Saat Baro telah menemui perkotaan ada sedikit hal yang menurut saya lucu. Menjelang Baron memutuskan unutk kembali mengikuti perkemahan, setelah ditampakkan buku jurnal Rusdi ditampakkan view kota yang luas. Saya curiga, keputusan Baron untuk kembali mengikuti perkemahan bukan karena 
Pada saat scene regu Harimau yang menancapkan bendera didalam lima bintang terlihat regu-regu yang lain bertepuk tangan menyambut kedatangan mereka. Kalu mereka sudah berkumpul disana sedang regu harimau baru datang mengapa mereka yang menang.
