The stroke patients often do not realize activities they can do at home using local resources, to help them rehabilitation. Initiated by the Australian Volunteers in 2010, Sharon and Elizabeth, YPK give upper and lower extremities classroom exercises for stroke patients. This class provides an opportunity to teaching patients and their families how they can use everyday items such as a clothesline, marbles, newspapers and eyeglasses to improve their hand strength, mobility and function. Increase the strength of patients and balance taught by introducing exercises that do not need a fancy or sophisticated tools. We teach exercise patients can easily reached at home, for example, activities based on the seat. We provide patients with rubber part in the tires that can be used as "Theraband" to practice some activity-based reinforcement. Lower extremity upper class push stroke patients and their families to work together and gain independence.
