pemerintah daerah Jawa barat akan menyelenggarakan kegiatan aksi Pelajar Cinta Sungai. Aksi ini merupakan suatu upaya untuk memantau kesehatan air sungai dan kelayakan air minum dengan metode biomonitoring/biotilik dan uji kualitas air minum serta aksi bersih Sungai Cijalupang.
tujuannya peringatan WED 2015 sebagai kegiatan membangunkan kesadaran dan semangat masyarakat dalam mengelola air sebagi penopang kehidupan di masyarakat, juga sebagai sarana pembelajaran bagi para siswa terhadap pentingnya air dan persiapan generasi yang mencintai, memperjuangkan kualitas air sungai di masa datang.
