God is still investigating. Jeremiah 5: 1-11 God is still investigating. God instructed Jeremiah checking all the people of Judah are there people who do justice and righteousness (1). Jeremiah could not find one (2-3). What about among the Princes who certainly knows the way and God's laws (4-5)? The answer remains the same, i.e. no one dignitary who did what was right. Their integrity has been damaged (1). Everything has been falling into sexual sin and destroy community and domestic life (7-8). Therefore the people of Judah is unlikely to escape or flee from the punishment of God. They have to account for their deeds in the sight of God (9-17). This is the main issue in this passage Jeremiah of Surat. In today's modern age, whether or not the command of God to Jeremiah is still meaningful? Does God still examine society today as he ever did to the nation of Judah? What is the relationship of Judah by God as his chosen ones can be likened to the relationship of God and the nation of Indonesia for example? The answer to the third question above is Yes.
