Dulu banyak orang yang bertanya-tanya, apa mungkin untuk bericara dengan orang yang jauhnya ribuan mil disana? Atau apa mungkin untuk bertatap muka dengan orang lain meskipun dengan keterbatasan jarak ? Pastilah dulu orang orang memiliki angan-angan seperti itu entah karena digunakan untuk pekerjaan atau pun hanya sekedar untuk melepas rindu dengan orang yang dikasihinya. Tapi nyatanya kini, keinginan orang jaman dahulu pun mulai menjadi kenyataan. Banyak bermunculan alat alat untuk melakukan komunikasi, seperti handphone, smartphone, tab, dan masih banyak lagi.
Banyak nya bermunculan alat alat komunikasi tersebut, berbanding lurus dengan kebutuhan akan internet. Internet sendiri merupakan sebuah jaringan komunikasi global yang memungkin kan kita untuk mengakses semua hal yang ada didunia. Sehingga internet sedikit banyak nya telah membantu banyak orang didunia.
Bagi saya sendiri internet berarti penghubung, mengapa demikian? Karena saya merasa internet telah banyak membantu saya untuk berkomunikasi dengan banyak orang, kenal dengan banyak orang, dan sebagai sarana silaturahmi dengan saudara yang jauh disana. Internet juga menurut saya berarti pengetahuan, karena sekali lagi, saya merasa bahwa internet telah banyak membantu untuk mengembangkan diri saya, pengetahuan, skill baik itu soft skill atau pun hard skill, dll.
Namun, saya juga merasakan dan memahami kelemahan internet. Diantaranya, banyak anak kecil yang sudah dewasa sebelum waktunya atau mulai berkurangnya aktifitas bermain anak diluar rumah karena sibuk dengan gadget nya masing-masing dan juga menyebabkan kecanduan internet. Sehingga, kita hanya terfokus pada gadge kita tanpa memerhatikan lingkungan sekitar.
Akhirnya, hal yang mampu saya lakukan hanyalah beberapa hal kecil untuk menghindari kecanduan internet. Diantaranya adalah dengan menyimpan gadget ketika sedang mengobrol dengan teman, hindari pemikiran bahwa gadget adalah segala, dan hal hal kecil lain nya
