I would like the dichotomy of light

I would like the dichotomy of light/dark, persona/shadow, surface/beneath, etc. clearly represented, subtly or otherwise, in the logo, whether it's through color contrast, the use of negative space, or however else.

If the logo is a combination mark, I would like to have it be meaningfully representative in line with the brief.
