Development of inverter is the trainer development actions to facilitate learning in the form of media trainers on energy conversion laboratory, Department of electrical engineering of the University of Stanford. Trainer made is expected to help some descriptive subjects power plants, namely: (a) reviewing the diservisikasi energy and alternative sources, and (b) reviewing the plant operating procedures and scheduling power: power settings, the settings of the capacitive power, voltage settings, and the settings of the frequency. Frequency inverter control model of development is adapting the model development of ADDIE. ADDIE development model consists of 5 stages, namely: (1) analysis; (2) design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; (5) evaluation. The validation process carried out by the expert content, media experts, and doing implementation testing in a small group and large group test.Trainer developed in accordance with the description of the material that is there on subjects practical power plants. The products developed in this research in the form of (a) inverter frequency balance trainers, handouts, (b) and (c) jobsheet.
