Tahun 2012 luasan mangrove terident

Tahun 2012 luasan mangrove teridentifikasi kembali bertambah terutama di Desa Bedono dan timbulsloko, yang merupakan perpaduan pertumbuhan alami dan hasil rehabilitasi beberapa stakeholder yang berkegiatan di Kabupaten Demak dalam rangka menjaga ekosistem pesisir dari ancaman bahaya abrasi.
Pada tahun 2013 kenampakan mangrove lebih kontas teridentifikasi dan sebagian besar tambak yang ada di seluruh pesisir Kabupaten Demak mulai ditumbuhi vegetasi mangrove di pematangnya.
