Dalam membuat sebuah produk, QC berperan memastikan produk yang dihasilkan masuk ke dalam standar, baik dimensi, visual ataupun internal material. dengan cara keypoint dari setiap proses (4M) harus di patuhi dan di lakukan dengan benar.
QC dapat berperan sebagai polisi yaitu melakukan investigasi problem, melakukan double cek, part produk dan parameter proses, dan sebagai dokter memberikan saran untuk perbaikan
