D. Manfaat Penelitian
Guna meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran, penulis melaksanakan perbaikan pembelajaran melalui penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan sendiri oleh guru karena mempunyai beberapa manfaat, antara lain: membantu guru memperbaiki pembelajaran, membantu guru berkembang secara professional, meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, dan memungkinkan guru secara aktif mengembangkan pengetahuan tentang keterampilan menulis. Disamping manfaat yang dirasakan oleh guru, penelitian ini juga bermanfaat bagi siswa, yaitu: membantu siswa menyalurkan gagasan/idenya, meningkatkan kemampuan siswa tentang keterampilan menulis, meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam menulis karangan/ essay, dan sebagainya.

D. Benefits Of ResearchIn order to improve the understanding of students towards the subject matter, the authors carry out improvements to the learning through action research class. This research was conducted by the teacher because it has several benefits, including: helping teachers improve learning, help teachers develop professionally, improve confidence, and allows teachers to actively develop the knowledge of writing skills. In addition to the benefits felt by teachers, research is also beneficial for students, namely: help students channel idea/idea, improving students ' ability of writing skills, increasing the activity of students in writing essay/essay, and so on.

To improve students' understanding of the subject matter, the author implement instructional improvement through action research.
