ABSTRACT
Lebah madu merupakan serangga yang berperan dalam menghasilkan madu. Saat ini kehidupan lebah madu (Apis spp) mulai terusik, habitatnya mulai terganggu, karena ketersediaan pakan yang mulai berkurang. begitu juga yang terjadi di kawasan hutan lindung di Desa Petiro, Kecamatan Pamona Timur, Kabupaten Poso. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis pakan lebah madu (Apis spp) yang berada di kawasan hutan lindung desa Petiro Kecamatan Pamona Timur Kabupaten Poso. Penelitian ini di laksanakan selama tiga bulan terhitung mulai bulan Februari sampai dengan April 2014 lokasi penelitian bertempat di Kawasan Hutan Lindung Desa Petiro Kecamatan Pamona Timur Kabupaten Poso. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode jalur berpetak luas Kawasan Hutan Lindung Desa Petiro sebagai objek penelitian yaitu 16 Ha jumlah seluruh petak contoh sebanyak 25 plot dengan intensitas sampling 6,25% hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa komposisi jenis pakan (Apis spp), pada tingkat pohon ditemukan sebanyak 144 individu dari 16 jenis dan 14 family, vegetasi yang merupakan pakan lebah madu hutan pada tingkat pohon sebanyak 12 jenis yang mendominasi adalah jenis Callophilum soulatri, dengan nilai INP 123,89% . tingkat tiang yang di temukan sebanyak 123 individu dari 22 jenis dan 16 family vegetasi yang merupakan pakan lebah madu hutan pada tingkat tiang sebanyak 16 jenis yang mendominasi adalah jenis Callophilum soulatri, dengan nilai INP 80,60% tingkat pancang di temukan sebanyak 133 individu dari 24 jenis dan 19 family, vegetasi yang merupakan pakan lebah madu hutan pada tingkat pancang sebanyak 18 jenis yang mendominasi adalah jenis Callophilum soulatri, dengan nilai INP 60,01%. Tingkat semai ditemukan sebanyak 339 individu dari 21 jenis dan 18 family, vegetasi yang merupakan lebah madu hutan pada tingkat semai sebanyak 14 jenis yang mendominasi Litsea densiflora, dengan nilai INP 45,02%.
