Aruh baharin is a traditional ceremony in Indonesia which is always held the Dayak Community after rice harvest huma. This ceremony is performed as a condition to invoke ancestral permission so that they can eat the crops of rice planting them. This public ceremony conducted at the balai adat. In their beliefs, if harvested rice is eaten without permission from ancestors, believed to be the dangers of bala will come to kampung later in the day.
