AbstractTarsier (Tarsius dentatus) is one of the smallest primates in the world and is one of the endemic animals occur in Central sulawesi province. Tarsiers in family tarsiidae. Tarsiers are nocturnal which means it is only active at night. Tarsiers are only active between the late afternoon until the morning until before sunrise. This research aims to know the spatial distribution of habitat Tarsius sp in SungkuKawasan village of Lore Lindu National Park using a geographic information system (GIS). This research can provide scientific contributions as well as contributions to the management of conservation areas especially in the preservation of wildlife in the area which the animals kind of Lore Lindu National Park. The methods used in this study i.e. the method transek the line (strip transect method). To determine the existence and nesting place tarsier is carried out by monitoring the votes are an indication of the presence of tarsiers. The nest of the Tarsiers were observed during the study are on clumps of bamboo and Fikus SP. spread of hive animals found near streams is relatively more prevalent than that much with the flow of the river. The altitude of the place of discovery of the habitat of the animals at the point of observation is at an elevation of tarsier habitat between the 757-982 m above sea level. Kelerengan the place of discovery of the habitat of the animals can be found on the class ramps up to a rather steep. Abstract
Tarsier (Tarsius dentatus) is one of the smallest primates in the world and is one of endemic species found in Central Sulawesi province. Tarsier belonging to the family tarsiidae. Tarsiers are nocturnal animals, which means these animals are only active at night. Tarsier only activity between late afternoon until early morning until just before sunrise. This study aims to determine the spatial distribution of habitats in the village sp Tarsier SungkuKawasan Lore Lindu National Park using Geographic Information System (GIS). This study could provide scientific contributions and the contribution to the management of protected areas, especially in the preservation of wildlife species of tarsiers in Lore Lindu National Park area. The method used in this research line transect method (strip transect method). To determine the presence and nesting place tarsier is done by monitoring the sound which is indicative of the presence of tarsiers. Tarsier nests were observed during the study were in a bamboo grove and Fikus sp. Spread of the tarsier's nest found near streams are relatively more equal than much with the flow of the river. The height of the discovery of habitat tarsier tarsier habitat at an observation point located at an altitude between 757-982 m above sea level. Slope where the discovery of the tarsier habitat can be found in the classroom rather steep ramps up. Vegetation density value of the discovery of the nest tarsiers more rarely found in class up until the meeting is between 0.420653659 0.573617041.
