METODE PENELITIAN
3.1 Desain Penelitian
One Group Pretest-Posttest Design
Desain ini menggunakan satu kelompok subyek. Subyek diberi pengukuran berupa pretest sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan diberi posttest setelah diberikan perlakuan. Prosedurnya yaitu:
1. Menggunakan pretest untuk mengukur psikologis subyek, yaitu kecemasan pada penderita kanker.
2. Memberikan perlakuan atau treatment, berupa musik religi.
3. Menggunakan posttest untuk mengukur psikologis subyek setelah diberikan perlakuan.
4. Melakukan perbandingan untuk menentukan perbedaan yang timbul sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan.
5. Menerapkan analisis statistik yang sesuai untuk menganalisa hasil penelitian.
3.2 Instrumen Penelitian dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Penelitian
a. Alat ukur kecemasan
Alat ukur kecemasan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan
DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) karena menurut peneliti skala ini mampu mengukur kecemasan pada penderita kanker.
b. Musik Religi
Peneliti menggunakan lagu dari Maher Zain dengan judul “Insya‟ Allah.
c. Prosedur eksperimen
Ketika pretest peneliti menggunakan DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) kemudian subyek diberikan treatment berupa musik religi dari Maher Zein dengan judul Insya Allah. Setelah itu diberikan posttest berupa skala yang sama seperti skala yang diberikan ketika pretest. Kemudian peneliti menggunakan analisis statistik untuk menentukan pengaruh pretest dan posttest. Skala DASS (Depresion Anxiety Stress Scale) diadopsi dari skala yang telah diuji untuk mengukur kecemasan. Berdasarkan rangkuman dari 42 penelitian tentang musik, rata-rata pemberian treatment musik dilakukan selama 5-30 menit. Sehingga peneliti menggunakan durasi pemberian musik selama 10 menit. Terapi diberikan selama 2 minggu, dengan durasi 2 hari sekali.
3.3 Alat Pengumpul Data Tambahan
a. Observasi dan wawancara
Observasi dan wawancara dilakukan pada subyek yang mengalami kecemasan karena menderita kanker dan bersedia untuk berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini.
b. Subjek Penelitian
Subyek penelitian ini adalah individu yang mengalami kecemasan karena menderita kanker dan bersedia
untuk berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini.

3.1 Research Design
One group pretest-posttest design
This design uses one group of subjects. Subjects were given a pretest measurements form before being given treatment and was given a posttest after being given treatment. The procedure is as follows:

After being awarded the posttest be the same scale as the scale is given when the pretest. Then the researchers used a statistical analysis to determine the effect of pretest and posttest.
