Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diberikan saran antara lain (1) pemilihan model pembelajaran akan mempengaruhi keberhasilan dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, guru harus mempelajari terlebih dahulu karakteristik materi serta karakteristik siswa sebelum mengajar, kemudian guru memilih model ataupun pendekatan pembelajaran yang tepat, sehingga pembelajaran dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang optimal, (2) pembelajaran menggunakan model CPS pendekatan realistik berbantuan Edmodo dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika, karena dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model tersebut siswa terlibat aktif dalam diskusi kelompok untuk menyelesaikan permasalah nyata di kehidupan sehari-hari, dan siswa juga aktif dalam mengerjakan tugas-tugas yang diberikan oleh guru, (3) soal-soal matematika yang berorientasi pada PISA dapat mengasah dan mengembangkan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa, oleh karena itu guru SMP Negeri 5 Semarang dapat menggunakan soal-soal berorientasi PISA, (4) media Edmodo dapat memberikan inovasi dan variansi dalam pembelajaran matematika, oleh karena itu guru SMP Negeri 5 Semarang dapat mengembangkan media Edmodo dalam pembelajaran selanjutnya, dan (5) model pembelajaran CPS pendekatan realistik berbantuan Edmodo dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa kelas VII pada materi peluang, sehingga guru dapat melakukan penelitian dan pengembangan mengenai model pembelajaran CPS pendekatan realistik berbantuan Edmodo dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi yang lain.
