Di sektor transportasi, Maluku memiliki pelabuhan laut dan beberapa bandara sebagai penyokong perekonomian sedangkan di sektor pendidikan, Maluku memiliki beberapa perguruan tinggi negeri maupun swasta berkualitas.

Selain itu, Maluku juga mengandalkan beberapa peninggalan bersejarah dan keindahan alamnya untuk meningkatkan sektor pariwisata. Beberapa benteng kuno seperti Benteng Victoria dan Benteng Oranye adalah dua contoh peninggalan bersejarah di Maluku, sedangkan keindahan alam yang ditawarkan berupa pantai dan keindahan alam bawah laut seperti Pantai Natsepa dan Laut Banda.
