Bullying sudah menjadi suatu kebias

Bullying sudah menjadi suatu kebiasaan yang marak dilakukan di dunia pendidikan. Perilaku bully biasanya berlangsung dalam waktu yang lama (tahunan) sehingga sangat mungkin mempengaruhi korban secara psikis. Sebenarnya selain perasaan-perasaan, seorang korban Bully juga merasa marah dan kesal dengan kejadian yang menimpa mereka. Ada juga perasaan marah, malu dan kecewa pada diri sendiri karena membiarkan kejadian tersebut mereka alami. Namun mereka tidak kuasa menyelesaikan hal tersebut, termasuk tidak berani untuk melaporkan pelaku pada orang dewasa karena takut dicap penakut, tukang mengadu, atau bahkan disalahkan. Dengan penekanan bahwa bully dilakukan oleh anak usia sekolah, perlu dicatat bahwa salah satu karakteristik anak usia sekolah adalah adanya egosentrisme (segala sesuatu terpusat pada dirinya) yang masih dominan. Sehingga ketika suatu kejadian menimpa dirinya, anak masih menganggap bahwa semua itu adalah karena dirinya.
