Penyebab terjadinya tragedy Tolikar

Penyebab terjadinya tragedy Tolikara adalah sebuah surat edaran yang di terbitkan oleh Badan Pekerja Gereja Injil di Indonesia mengenai adanya acara seminar dan KKR (Kebaktian Kebangunan Rohani) pemuda Gereja yang bertepatan dengan Sholat Ied. Dalam surat tersebut terdapat tiga hal yang diberitahukan; 1) tidak diperbolehkannya diadakan acara membuka hari raya pada 17 Juli 2015. 2) warga boleh merayakan hari raya diluar Kabupaten Tolikara (Wamena) atau Jayapura. 3) kaum muslim dilarang memakai hijab.

The cause of the occurrence of tragedy Tolikara is a circular letter which was published by the Gospel Church workers in Indonesia about the seminar and TRC (revival meetings) the Church's youth coincided with the Eid Prayer. In this letter, there are three things that were told; 1) not allowed held event opens the feast day on 17 July 2015. 2) citizens may celebrate the feast outside the Regency Tolikara (Wamena) or Jayapura. 3) Muslims are prohibited from wearing hijab.
