Dalam tulisan ini penulis melihat berbagai persoalan budaya tentang kesehatan reproduksi yang terkait dengan perspektif budaya suku bangsa Minangkabau, yang berada di Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Etnis ini adalah salah satu etnis yang menganut sistem keturunan matrilineal. Maka tulisan ini menyorot tentang isu budaya yang terkait dengan masalah kesehatan reproduksi yang lazim ditemukan pada konteks sosial masyarakat Minangkabau. Setidaknya tulisan pendek ini memperdebatkan isu tentang kesehatan reproduksi dan sekaligus kearifan lokal masyarakat tersebut khususnya dalam masalah kesehatan reproduksi kaum perempuan.

In this paper the authors look at various cultural issues of reproductive health that are associated with a cultural perspective of the Minangkabau ethnic group, which is in the province of West Sumatra. This is one of the ethnic ethnic descendants of matrilineal system embraced. Then this paper highlight issues of culture associated with reproductive health problems commonly found in Minangkabau society social context. At least this short article to debate the issue of reproductive health and the society of local wisdom and especially reproductive health problems in women.

This is one of the ethnic ethnicity embracing system of matrilineal descent. This paper highlight of the cultural issues related to reproductive health problems commonly found in the social context of Minangkabau society. This short paper at least debate the issue of reproductive health and at the same time the local wisdom, especially in women's reproductive health issues.
