Keterampilan membaca (maharah al-qira’ah) yaitu menyajikan materi pelajaran dengan cara lebih dulu mengutamakan membaca, yakni guru mula-mula membacakan topic-topik bacaan, kemudian diikuti oelh para siswa.

Reading skills (al-maharah qira'ah) that serves the subject matter by way of priority to first reading, namely the teacher reads out the first topic-the topic of reading, then followed by the students.
