2) Climb up to the center platform and hold up the wooden sword before time
expires.

The most important rule to remember for this round is that the third female
gladiator to enter the arena will carry the wooden sword that you will need to
win this round. She will only come out during the final two minutes before the
clock runs out. Until then, you will have to run around the arena and fight
off other gladiators while waiting. Use this time to take out the two archers
in the area - one is on the back left platform and the other is on the very top
of the middle platform. Once you get a big weapon, climb the middle platform
and cut off an arm from the big gladiator that guards it. He will instantly
stop his rounds and try to knock you off once you climb the ladder so you may
have to block his first attack. All it takes is one charged Halberd or Maul
attack to weaken him to where he can't do much for the rest of the round. Go
ahead and climb to the very top and take down the medium-size gladiator with
the bow as well. After you have cleared your way to the top of the middle
platform, the only thing left to do is to kill the gladiators around you and
wait for the female gladiator with the wooden sword to enter. She will enter
after two smaller gladiators and she will be the third female gladiator that
will appear in the entire arena. Once she enters, run up to her and chop off
her arm to make her drop her bow and kill her quickly. She will only drop the
sword when she is dead. Grab the wooden sword and climb to the top of the
middle platform. Press O with the wooden sword equipped at the very top of the
middle platform to win this round.

Gold Ranking Strategy

It shouldn't be that hard at all to get a gold rank on this round. Try to kill
every gladiator differently at first, and make sure to chop off some heads and
appeal to the crowd with them. Throw weapons, arms, and roses into the crowd
to get some bonus Salvos. Use one gladiator as a shield, suplex another, cut
off their arms, beat them with an arm, stomp them as they scream in agony, cut
their torsos off...the usual.
